Social Skills Groups give children a change to learn to get along in an atmosphere of self-awareness, creativity, and self-control. A non-academic setting reduces competitiveness and encourages interaction. Art therapy and play therapy are important ingredients in our groups. Children learn to identify and express their feelings. Boys and girls get help with solutions as they role-play problem situations in their lives. Parents can anticipate that we will schedule a conference to discuss your child's needs and establish individual goals for group. Here are the 2 therapists who facilitate the groups and their contact info:

Kathy Morse , LPC-I, Art Therapist, has experience working as an art therapist with children in hospitals and community agencies. She specializes in helping children express themselves using various artmodalities.
